Workshop 2 – Road map development and implementation

During this workshop we will practise using the tools. Participants are encouraged to prepare the workshop by collecting the data needed as input in the tools and when possible already perform the barrier and stakeholder analyses. In groups divided by cancer site, the participants will practise using the evaluation tool. They can simulate the impact of changes to the programme, for example when screening at different age ranges or improvement of the programme by overcoming a barriers. The combination of barrier analysis, stakeholder analysis and modelling results will be used to develop the road map. These practical sessions should enable participants to develop a road map for feasible improvements of the cancer screening programmes after the workshop.

In addition, sessions to explain topics as quality-of-life and cost-effectiveness as well as implementation will be organised and experiences of the implementation studies will be discussed.
