Face-to-face consortium meeting held in Montenegro

On June 9 and 10, 2022, we had our first face-to-face consortium meeting in Budva, Montenegro. In total 31 members from all consortium partners were present, to discuss the progress in the EU-TOPIA-EAST project. A number of presentations were held on the state of affairs on breast cancer screening in Georgia, colorectal cancer screening in Montenegro and cervical cancer screening in Romania.

As a social activity, the consortium visited Boka Bay by boat. The region of Kotor was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

The project was launched in May 2021 and will continue to April 2026.

This project has received funding from the European Unionʼs Horizon2020 Programme under grant agreement no 965014
